Dating back 155 million years to the Jurassic period, these fragments likely originated from a Sauropod (long-necked dinosaur), one of the largest land animals ever to exist. The Morrison Formation is renowned for its abundance of dinosaur fossils. These fossils were legally collected on private land with the landowner's permission.
