This is a vintage shoe polish box Esquire shoe valet deluxe patent pending the box is made in yugoslavia. I can't tell if it's oak or cedar. It is very good condition dirty inside due to all of the shoe polish and stuff that obviously was used back in the day. The lock latch gets a little stuck so you have to push it down to make it stick. But then it works perfectly. And great condition for its age I'm thinking it's between 1950 to 1955. Wish I knew the history on it.
